my first attempt at a video piece came from the text of Franz Kafka's story metamorphosis. i have made my own short story out of the original text: a sort of story within a story. the voice came before the video which is an abstract one as the story is a bit abstract as well. if you know the original story well, some bits and pieces come through as a sort of memory. it all started as an experiment to see if the story i made would relate back to the original. have a listen...
